Graduation is one of those BIG moments that deserve to be celebrated. The late nights studying, the early mornings rushing to class, the friendships made along the way - it all leads to this moment. And recently, I had the absolute joy of capturing a graduation session for an incredible graduate from Northern Arizona University (NAU). 

Let me just say...this session was FUN. Vibrant. Full of laughter. Exactly the kind of storytelling session I love. 

Celebrating a Huge Milestone

Graduating from Northern Arizona University is no small accomplishment. This grad worked hard for years to earn that cap and gown, and it was such an honor to help preserve this moment in photographs that will last a lifetime. 

We focused on capturing a mix of candid lifestyle moments and classic portraits - the perfect combination to tell their story. From walking shots with the cap and gown flowing behind them to proud moments holding their diploma, every frame celebrated the excitement of finishing such a huge chapter. 

Sessions like this are why I love what I do. These aren't just photos...they're memories. 

Golden Light, Big Smiles, and Vibrant Color

If you know my style, you know I'm all about color, light, and real emotion. My approach blends candid storytelling with guided poses so clients feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves. I'm always chasing that perfect light - backlighting, sun flares, and golden hour magic whenever possible. 

And this session delivered.

The Arizona sun gave us the most beautiful glow, and the energy from this graduate made every frame pop. The laguther was real, the excitement was contagious, and the images captured a milestone that will be remembered for years.
