Great photos can make great introductions! Let your professional headshot express your vibe.

If a photo is worth a thousand words then headshot photography is a language designed to speak to a person’s uniqueness. Professional headshots are somewhat like a short personal essay. They give the viewer a glimpse into the professions and interests of the subject.

Photographer Craig Mitchelldyer says.”You want to be able to look at somebody’s headshot and say “That person is someone I would like to work with. Somebody I can trust. I can tell we have the same vibe based on the energy that I am getting from the picture.”

How do you want to portray yourself? Headshots can be used for any marketing purpose. Are you a social media influencer? A business owner? Looking for a new job and want one for your Linked In profile? Gone are the days of standing in front of a backdrop for that one shot. Your headshot can have a little variety. Traditionally it has been a photo of someone from their shoulders up but today that isn’t always the case.
Let it be an expression of you. This is critical otherwise it’s just a person. People want to resonate with personality and that will not always carry through in front of a studio backdrop.
