I just love capturing love on camera. Look at the way they look at each other! Most people say they are awkward in front of the camera and they want me to direct them. Of course I will, however, I prompt genuine moments too. These adorable moments happen organically when you least expect it. All you have to do is enjoy and embrace the process and moments. Be in the moment with your loved one and have fun! Even though the majority of my clients say they like candids they end up picking mainly posey posey ones. I am here to break that cycle. I am not saying I don't like posed images, and you can certainly have posed imagery, I just would like to add a variety for you to choose from.

So, when I go on a shoot, I will have Pinterest poses on my phone to refer back to but lately I have been printing out the pictures so my clients get a visual of the pose. It makes things easier when I can't articulate the details. Repositioning hands and small tweaks change the dynamic of the photos incredibly. This is where I give the most directions... it's all in the details. Not every pose will work on every couple, but the concept is the beginning and then we can make it your own. It always turns out better when we make it your own unique style! I love trying new things with my couples and then looking back at the LDC camera screen and say WOW... see that worked. But the best part is when I show my couples the screen and I see their reaction. If I don't get the reaction I want... like OMG I love it, we try again until I hear the genuine excitement in their voice.
