It depends on how busy I am. I try my best to get you in as soon as possible. Fall is a busy time so please try and plan in advanced to schedule because everyone waits until the last minute. A non-refundable $50 booking /retainer is due at the time of booking to secure your date.

What type of sessions do you offer Your outfits set the tone for the entire photo shoot, but please, please don't stress yourself out! If you want to buy something special, go for it. Getting your pictures taken is a special event. And your kind of a big deal. I love color, but most important is picking something that suits you and your family. Over the top outfits and attire that coordinate but are not 'matchy matchy' work very well. Try to accessorize with coordinating colors, however, if you feel the need to overdramatize your wardrobe with lots of clashing colors that works for me too.

My favorite time to shoot a session is in the evening an hour or two before sunset. this is how I get those beautiful sun filled images with backlighting and sun-flares. If the evening does not work for your family, then morning is the next best option. If it is over-cast, then the lighting is perfect all day long.

Children are children and sometimes they cooperate and sometimes they don't. our #1 job is to keep them happy. I am not beneath bribing, and I always bring goodies. to spoil, spoil, spoil. I will do everything in my power to get the best shots I can.

We can rent a studio for $50/hour

On location meaning wherever you would like. If you have a location that is special to your family, I would love to capture your photos there. I have my favorite locations and I am constantly scouting and looking for new ones.

For at-home sessions, I look for areas in your house with larger windows and plenty of natural light. However, I do have lighting as a back-up. Larger rooms, (an open floor plan) and simple, uncluttered decor is best. If the home has eye-catching furniture, artwork or architectural details that' is wonderfully but not necessary. Also, areas of the yard that have a fair amount of shade and either foliage or some other pleasant background is a plus.

In the case of inclement weather (rain, storms, etc..) we will simply reschedule for another open day/time. We are blessed here with mild winters that enable us to conduct sessions outdoors. However, it' is important to note that I do not reschedule simply because the sky is overcast or for cool/ or hot temperatures. While overcast is an ideal lighting for any time of the day, my style lends itself to backlighting and sun flares.

Anything to keep your children happy. Please keep treats to the least messy like cheerios and Smarties. Bring any props you would like to use. I have some props too. Please take weather conditions into consideration like water, bug-spray, oil control sheets, makeup and jackets. I have a bag of tricks too.

Even though I do not have a time restriction, they are typically between 1-2 hours depending on the behaviors and cooperation. I try to make the photo shoot as relaxed, spontaneous and silly as possible.

I will send you a gallery that same day, but no more than 2 days after session via email with a soft edit on your photos. You will select your favorites directly in the gallery. There may be a lot of images in there so I want you to pick your favorite expressions, smiles, etc. and I will take care of the rest. I will then do a complete audit on your favorites and send a gallery link via email for you to download your images. CDs and custom USBs are an additional cost. The editing process takes about 1-2days and no longer than 2 weeks. If you need your images sooner, there may be an expediting fee. Need help selecting images, I am here to help so please let me know. I also offer print options.

I do like posting my favorites on my blog, Facebook and Instagram. If you would rather not have any pictures posted I will respect your wishes and keep your beautiful pictures a closely guarded secret.

Yes, minor corrections on blemishes and spots, blemishes are included in the cost. If you want some major surgery like Liposuction you may need to see a doctor for that. But I do offer minimally invasive surgery with no down time and color changes for an additional cost.
